A Little Bit of RIO in REDMOND!
The Northwest Track Cycling Championships is a fun weekend of track
events for racers and good watchin’ for spectators! Also known as
“Fred’s Race,” the NWTCC pits racers against the clock and each
other as they compete for northwest bragging rights in every event
run on the velodrome. Racing begins with mass start and keirin
races on Friday, August 19, then continue through the weekend.
Outside the rail, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy a picnic with
family & friends during the day and enjoy an evening or two of
bunch races during “three days of the beer garden.” All beverage
garden proceeds benefit the JDRF. For details go to our Facebook
page, facebook.com/FredsRace, or fredsrace.com.
Mark your calendars for August 19-21 for an exciting weekend of
track cycling as top riders from Washington, Idaho, Oregon &
British Columbia compete to be best in the northwest!
If you’re new to the track and want to race at Fred’s Race in 2016
(a.k.a., the Northwest Track Cycling Championships), there’s a spot
for you to compete! Fred loved to race, and he wanted people to
have a chance to race no matter what category they might be. For
more information check out our FAQ page.
As Fred would say, just starting makes you a winner!
And we know what Fred would do: FRED WOULD GO!
