Course Description: 400 Meter Cement Velodrome with 25-Degree Maximum Banking. Course Map.
Cost: $30 for all events, $15 for junior competitors. Rental bikes are $10 for full day rental and available to category 4 & junior riders only. Rental bikes are $5 for junior competitors. USA Cycling license required to race. All racers must have a USA Cycling annual license ($60) which can be purchased at www.usacycling.org (not for sale at the race). UCI international licensed riders are eligible. No one day licenses available. All riders must have prior track experience, completed the Marymoor Velodrome track class, or have permission of Track Program Director and/or Chief Referee to compete.
Registration: Day of event registration only. Registration opens at 8:30AM for the morning session then at 4:30PM for the evening session. We’re looking at pre-registration as well. Registration opens at 9:30AM for Sunday’s day session.
Race Start Times: On Saturday August 17, SESSION #1 will start at 10AM starting with timed events (500m, Kilo, Individual Pursuit, Team Pursuit, Team Sprint). SESSION #2 will start at 6PM starting with Kierin Qualifiers if necessary, followed by Points, Kierin Finals, Scratch and Madison. On Sunday August 18, Session #3 will start at 11AM with the Flying 200m TT for sprint seeding, followed by the *Match Sprint tournament.
Prizes: Due to USAC rules state championship medals (3 deep) can only be awarded to Washington State residents. State championship medals will be awarded to the top three Washington State finishers. Out-of-state riders who place in the top three overall will receive non-championship medals. FCR Team Omnium Trophy will be awarded on Friday August 23 at Friday Night Racing.
Race Numbers: Event specific numbers will be provided for all competitors.
Other Info: Sprint & Timed Events Open to Masters 35+ Track Categories 1-4. Mass Start & Kierin Races are limited to Masters 35+ Men Track Categories 1-3 & Masters 35+ Women Track Categories 1-4**. If enough riders are entered in Men 55+ Age Group, Categories 1-4*** may compete.
**Age 35+ Category 4 Women who have completed Thursday Nights are eligible for mass start & kierin events.
*All Match Sprint participants qualify for at least one race.
***Category 4 Riders aged 55+ who have 4 Wednesday Nights or more are qualified for kierin and mass start if enough riders for 55+ field.
FRED C. REHBERGER TEAM OMNIUM TROPHY: Team with highest number of top three placings across all categories wins Washington State Team Omnium Award. Team and riders must be USAC registered in Washington State.
*The combining of race categories and altering length of races are subject to change under the discretion of the race director and/or promoter based on participation.
